The DX3000 Series Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is a high-quality digital recorder that combines the functions of a recorder and multiplexer into one unit. The DX3000 Series provides superior picture quality that can exceed that of a standard SVHS recorder. A built-in hard drive generally allows recording for 15 days, depending on the recording mode. With optional tape backup, unlimited storage capacity is possible. The DX3000 Series DVR also dramatically reduces the down time for maintenance or repair that is generally associated with VCRs.
